From the moment I arrived at Duennenberg Exotics, I felt completely welcomed and at home. The hospitality was top-notch, and the property itself is absolutely incredible. There’s a wide variety of beautiful animals to choose from—definitely something for everyone, no matter what kind of hunting experience you’re looking for.
Cooper and his team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From preparing delicious meals to guiding us on exciting hunts to just sitting around chatting with our group, they made the entire experience feel personal and laid-back.
The accommodations were also fantastic. Everything you need is provided—from fresh linens and toiletries to a fully stocked fridge and snacks. It’s clear that every detail is thoughtfully considered.
What really stood out to me was Cooper’s passion and attentiveness. He genuinely cares about making sure each guest has a great time and leaves happy. His experience and love for what he does shine through in every aspect of the trip.

Duennenburg Ranch was a spectacular drive to get to, even more so after a flooding rain, which made it even more fun. From the time of arrival, I was welcomed by our guide and game owner, Cooper Duennenburg, along with his father and assistant, who made me feel welcome and a part of the family. I was there to harvest a mature Blackbuck, and Cooper didn’t waste time trying to put me on one. We rode the property, getting familiar with the terrain and animal movements and the history of him, his family, and the ranch. We saw great animals all over the ranch and amazing shooters of all types of animals on the ranch. The meals were very nice, and you never went hungry unless you wanted to. The accommodations were 5-star, and I felt like I was in paradise while sitting inside or outside on the porch looking at God's Country at its best. Cooper and his staff put me on a great Blackbuck, for which I couldn’t be more thankful, being it was a bucket list item for me in my lifetime list of hunting. If you're looking for a professional, family, and quality hunt, I recommend looking into Dunnenburg Ranch. We’re your site to get the hunt of your life. We’ve had the pleasure of hunting at Duennenberg Exotics twice, and both trips were incredible. From start to finish, Cooper Duennenberg went above and beyond to make sure every moment was memorable. The hunts were guided by Cooper himself, who has an amazing eye for detail and a true passion for making sure his guests have the time of their lives. Both hunts were done by buggy, giving us a full view of the beautiful Hill Country terrain. There was no shortage of Axis deer, but Cooper was determined to put us on the most impressive bucks—and he did exactly that.
On our first trip, it was just my husband and me. Cooper focused on making it his hunt—asking what he was looking for instead of assuming. That kind of attentiveness made the experience feel so personal and tailored. The second time, we brought our two daughters—one of whom is an avid hunter—and once again, Cooper didn’t disappoint. He made sure everyone felt included, especially the kids. He found ways to keep them engaged and part of the hunt, which meant so much to us as a family. You can tell he truly cares about ensuring everyone has an amazing time.
The amenities? Easily 6-star. The cabin was stocked with everything you could need—snacks, drinks, toiletries—you name it. And the food? Outstanding. We were fed, and fed well. Cooper didn’t cut any corners when it came to comfort and hospitality. We came home from each trip happier, closer as a family, and with two stunning mature Axis buck mounts on the wall. Duennenberg Exotics gave us more than a hunt—it gave us memories we’ll treasure forever. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

An absolute 5-star experience! Cooper and the entire Duennenberg Family are the epitome of awesome! I had such an amazing time here. Our hunt was the best that I’ve experienced in my 40 years in the outdoors. Duennenburg Exotics is your one-stop shop for the finest in dining, hunting, and the entire outdoor experience.
